When a death occurs that affects a pupil or the whole school community it can be a very emotional and potentially stressful situation for you and your staff too. Making decisions, giving information and supporting others who may be stressed or emotional can be challenging. It is very important that you ensure you look after both yourself and your staff team to ensure you are able to best support your pupils and their families.
