Supporting a bereaved family
There is no right way to react to death. Anger, confusion, and sadness are among the many different reactions that bereaved pupils may have. How they're feeling may not be immediately obvious, so it's unhelpful to interpret their behaviour. It's much more important to observe and listen to them. Each pupil will deal with their grief in their own way.
